Corporate Governance

Diversity Initiatives

What are the functions of Diverse Governance (DG)?

Research Function

DG will work with Canada’s corporate leaders, independently supporting organizations as well as their enterprise resource groups to identify research priorities. Drawing on current and generated data, DG will develop independent reports, analyses, and position papers for circulation to organizations, governments, and media (see ‘Advocacy’ below).

Social Upward Mobility

DG will work with partners to create paths for existing employees, and revive the ‘mailroom to c-suite talent’ narrative through programs for identifying, supporting and rewarding high-potential and high-performing talent.

Education and Training Program

DG will offer introductory and intermediate governance courses for interested and identified future leaders. DG will also work with TBD Universities to offer governance credentialing, as well as offering corporate resources and courses. Conferences and quarterly Seminars will also be offered.

Advocacy Function

DG will leverage aggregated data and industry leading benchmarks to produce independent reports and material that raises awareness. These reports and white papers will be shared with corporations and government(s), as well as with the public via media.

Corporate and Institutional Partnerships

DG will partner and seek funding and collaboration with a variety of organizations and their diversity groups to advance the network of Diverse Governance.
